Defining the term "Versatile Actor" - Director Priyadarshan Speaks.
K.D takes out a small excerpt from a chat rendezvous with Director Priyadarshan by a Bollywood media agency.
Interviewer: You as a director, have been equally successful, doing films in all major industries across the country. With all the experience that you posses, what would you term as the range of emotions an actor should portray - to be called as being Versatile?
Priyadarshan: I'd love to give you a simple reply on that. Check Mr. Mohanlal's (South Indian Actor) filmography for say, the year 1989. You could find all possible emotive extremities an actor can possibly posses. Be it anything - comedy, action, slapstick, author-backed, thriller, dark-humor, family sentiments; you get it all there.
