"Mohanlal is the best actor in MY WORLD. I have worked with him his look and his dialogue in the climax scene of yatramozhi still haunts me "Aa poyathaayirunnu ente achan alle appumaama?" (That was my father, isn't it Appu uncle?) those words still haunt me. Though we are from trivandrum we met during the making of "Sindhoorasandhyakku Mounam". When i saw him fight and his timing i knew he would go places. The great thing about mohanlal is that he treats you with respect and love and whats more he has a great sense of humour. Picture after picture i saw of him made me a fan of his. There are no airs about him he is still the same lalu i met a long long time ago. What really makes him a great actor is the fact that he pushes himself, imagine not knowing a word of sanskrit he does a sanskrit play and pulls it of in style. Mohanlal is an actor par excellence. He puts his soul into what he does and he does not waste his time politicking or is scared of any other actor. He does his job. Oh if i were an actor i wish i could be like him, because the one thing i learnt from him was enjoy the day. Enjoy what you do and most of all enjoy your life." - Pratap Pothen (Actor/Director)
