Why do Kerala people strongly believe that the actor Mohanlal is internationally competent and talented?
Keralites are more used to watching films from many languages more than any Indian states and they have seen many legendary films and actors from different languages all over the world. This viewership is increasing in other states now a days, still Kerala have higher than others. Also the Drama which in Kerala is the root of modern entertainment influenced the society so that people used to judge actors based on acting skills rather than appearance which is more other language viewers. That's the reason why an actor like physically good Salman Khan or Sharukh khan wont go good in Malayalam if he dont have great acting skills. This knowledge about many film industries reasonably entitles the Keralites to compare and judge the acting of various language artists worldwide rather than a "just-bollywood" fan comparing Salman Khan with Mohanlal or Mammootty like actors. And we strongly believes that Mohanlal is arguably one of the greatest actors in the world. Also Legendary actors from other industries in India like Kamal hassan or Amitabh always hailed Mohanlal as the best they have seen. This is a reason when we say about actors all over the world, Mohanlal could be the one representing Indian Industry rather than an SRK or Salman or Vijay (no disrespect to these people as they have their own ways of becoming stars).
